Saint Francis Xavier Parish operates the St. Vincent de Paul Center, located at the rear of the church. The center is named for St. Vincent de Paulm who was known for his deep commitment to serving the poor, the needy, the sick, prisoners, and outcasts. He is the universal patron of all works of charity.
The thrift store at the Center is staffed by a group of energetic and cheerful volunteers and is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 - 3:00. The center accepts donations of gently used clothing and some household items. Due to safety regulations, they cannot accept baby strollers, car seats, or any type of children's furniture. We ask that donations of clothing and other items be made only during the hours of operation. Items at the thrift store are sold for modest prices (cash only, please!) and the income helps support parish charitable works.
You can call 802-655-3006 for more information. More volunteers are welcome!
